The Advice and Community Hub
Based in London Road, St Leonards on Sea The Advice & Community Hub is a partnership of three leading advice organisations serving the communities of Hastings and Rother.
Coming together in Renaissance House in March 2012:
- Brighton Housing Trust (BHT)
- Citizens Advice 1066 (CA1066)
- Hastings Advice and Representation Centre (HARC)
now offer an integrated advice centre covering a wide range of issues including housing, homelessness, debt, benefit, welfare, immigration, employment, legal advice and much more.
The Hub is also home to BHT Finding Futures – a personal development and motivational programme for unemployed adults.

BHT Hastings Advice
provides specialist legal advice to clients who have issues relating to housing. We provide a range of services to advise people on possession action from landlords, homelessness and disrepair.We provide advice through face to face appointments at the Advice & Community Hub and we run a Court Desk Duty Scheme at Hastings County Court.
CITIZENS ADVICE 1066
offers a free, impartial, independent and confidential service to anyone seeking advice or information regardless of race, gender sexuality or disability.
is a registered charity providing free advice, information and representation on all welfare benefits and tax credits, for residents of Hastings Borough and Rother District. HARC also provides home visits for elderly and disabled people, advice surgeries in various locations and representation at Tribunals.
offers a Personal, Self Development & Motivational training programme, for all ages, where people can improve their Life Skills alongside the opportunity to gain meaningful qualifications in English, Maths, ICT, Employability Skills and a wide range of vocational qualifications.
